Baked Brie

Yields: 8 servings

½ cup almonds
¼ cup pecans
¼ cup walnuts
½ teas. cinnamon
¼ teas. gr. ginger
Pinch nutmeg, allspice
¾ cup light brown sugar


Put all except water in food processor until finely ground. Add 1 tablespoon water at a time & process until moist & holds together but not runny. Bake at 325* for about 30 min or until warm and gooey. Also may heat under broiler watching constantly 5-10 min until warmed. Add craisins before or after heating.
I substitute more pecans. Also I trim the brie paper, especially the top bottom and bake not broil so it gets warmer in the middle. Sometimes I broil the end . Good with thin slices of a tart apple. Serve with thin slices of french baguette.
