Cooking Wright

Spinach Salad


1 1/2 lbs of spinach
1 can sliced water chestnuts
6 slices of bacon crumbled
2 hard boiled eggs
1 handful of bean sprouts
sliced mushrooms

2/3 c salad oil
2 tsp Lea & Perrins
1/3 c sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup red wine vinegar (I have used pomegranate vinegar)
salt and pepper to taste (can be made without pepper ;))


Combine all ingredients.
Add dressing just before serving.
