5- ingredient Chocolate Tahini Quinoa Energy Bites


1/2 cup almonds/walnuts or pecans
1 cup dates (about 12) pitted
1/3 c raw cacao powder (you can use cocoa instead)
1/4 cup black tahini ( I used regular and made my own much cheaper)
1/4 cup toasted quinoa*

I buy the quinoa in the bulk section

Just place in 350 oven and toast keep an eye on them


chop the nuts mix nuts and dates in Vita mix or food processor.
add cacao and tahini pulse until mixed well
add toasted quinoa and pulse until mixed in.

form balls into about 1 TBSP using a scoop is best. You have to push in for them to not crumble and stay formed.

They can stay at room temperature for 5 days.
We thought they tasted better after the first day.
