Dream Bars



60 unwrapped caramels
3/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
2 cups of flour
1 cup of oatmeal (I put it in a blender)
1.5 cups brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
3 sticks of butter
2 cups chocolate chips
1-2 cups shredded coconut


Preheat Oven to 350

Mix flour, oatmeal, sugar, soda, butter in mixer. Take half of mixture out and put in 9x13 baking pan. Press down to form crust.

Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Melt caramels and sweetened condensed milk in small sauce pan. Remove from heat when melted.

Put caramel mixture on top of cooked crust. Put on coconut and chocolate chips.

Pour remaining mixture on top.

Bake another 15 minutes.

Important: Let cool for an hour or two. I put it in the fridge for about 2 hours as its pretty gooey.

Prepare yourself for maximum yum.
