Chocolate Chip Cookies


1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats (put them in the blender to grind them up)
1/2 cup walnuts (put in blender with oats)
3 cups flour
2 1/2 cups chocolate chips


Cream softened butter and sugars in mixer. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients until mixed. Stir in chocolate chips at the end. Dough will be very thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Nutritional note: whole recipe has 1065g carbs. If you make 1 1/2” dough balls that weigh 1.3oz each, you should get 43 cookies that are just under 25g carb each.
