Ever So Moist Chocolate Cake


1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 c. sour cream
¾ c. water
½ c. vegetable or canola oil
3 lg. eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla


Mix on low for one minute scrape down sides and beat on medium for 2 minutes. (I followed this pretty closely. The first time I made it I let the mixer keep going while I was preparing the cake pans. It was too much beating and the cake turned out totally flat!)
Pour into two round 9 inch pans. Grease with shortening and dust with flour
Bake at 350 for 32-35 minutes.
