English Toffee

Ingredients

2 c roasted almonds on greased pan (set aside)
(Set aside some ground almonds)
Milk chocolate bars (melted)
Combine:
1 lb. Butter
2 1/2 c sugar

Directions

On med. heat, stir at 180º until all mixed. At 280º stir like crazy until 300º. At 300º immediately pour onto almonds as evenly as possible. Cool 5 min., then pour on melted milk chocolate. Sprinkle ground almonds on top.
