Buttermilk Pie Crust


good for apple pie

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Cut in 1 1/2 cup shortening


Mix together:
1/2 cup buttermilk and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Add to flour mix to form ball. Roll and fit in pie tin. Makes 5 8” crusts
