Almond Shortbread Cookies


1 lb. butter
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 cups finely ground almonds
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla


Work with hands or beat together in a mixer. Divide dough into 4 parts and shape into square logs. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate until firm. Slice to bake. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.

I haven’t actually tried making these myself yet. My friend just brought them to school and I loved them so I asked for the recipe.
