Peanut Butter Cookies


1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda


Cream butter with peanut butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, salt and baking soda over creamed mixture; blend thoroughly. Form into 1-inch balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Press flat with a fork. Bake 12-15 min at 350.

Yield: 3 dozen cookies
