Tamale Pie


1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes
3/4 cup corn meal
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup chopped onion
12 oz. can corn
1 teaspoon salt
1 can small pitted black olives
grated cheddar cheese


Brown meat, add onions, and cook until transparent. Add tomatoes and liquid from corn. Stir in corn meal. Simmer 10 minutes. Add salt, chili powder, corn and olives. Put in baking dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350. Cover with cheese and bake 10 minutes more.
