Chicken Divan

Ingredients

3 lbs. chicken breasts
2 cups water
1 tablespoon salt
celery leaves
1 medium onion, quartered
2 lbs. fresh broccoli or 2 packages of frozen

1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup whipped cream or sour cream

Directions

Simmer chicken in water with salt, celery leaves and onion until tender, about 25 minutes. Remove skin and bones and slice. Separate broccoli into flowerets, cook in lightly salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.

Combine:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup whipped cream or sour cream

Butter 3 quart baking dish. Arrange broccoli in bottom. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.

Arrange sliced chicken on top. Spoon sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese (if desired) and paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 25-30 minutes. Be careful not to overcook.
